acupressure to induce labor – Walking up and down the stairs to induce labor?

Walking up and down the stairs to induce labor?
I am 36 1/2 weeks pregnant, and because of the baby's size (she is already measured 8 1/2 pounds) he plans on inducing me Tuesday. I am 90 percent effaced but my cervix is closed. I was wondering if walking up and down the stairs would help to induce labor? I also heard about acupressure. Does anyone know what pressure points that involves and how to do so? Thank you so much!
